Hyper Terminal has been locked for these Hard disks and unless you short-circuit two
Pins on the points shown on Printed Circuit Board, you can not in any manner input
Commands in the terminal window of H D Doctor for Seagate.
Every time you input command, you will get error message like “LED: 000000CC”.
The exact Procedure for this problem.
Step 1 Connect the HDD for Seagate to Hard disk and enter terminal mode. (There is
Need to Remove PCB).
Press Ctrl + Z, you will get “F3 T>”.
Step 2 Use a tweezers to short-circuit the two red pins. If it succeeds, you will get a
Message like “Invalid Input Command.”
Step 3 Stop motor in level 2 (F3 2 >Z), and then you can remove tweezers.
Step 4 Reset SMART in level 1 (F3 1>N1) and clear G-List in level T (F3 T>i4, 1, 22).
Step 5 Use the feature Fix Capacity Error to recover capacity.
